Delicious food in an idyllic and rustic ambience. Always worth a visit!

I cannot understand the many stars: The sleepy waitress didn't want to greet us or take an order, but referred to another colleague. At some point this (nice) waitress came up to us. Our tarte flambée as a starter came a long way apart. Except for the onions, they were pickled with toppings. In total, we had ordered 3 burgers and a schnitzel as a main course. The greasy-fried schnitzel arrived long before the burgers. We were hungry to watch this friend eat. Before the burgers came, they asked if we had actually already had the burgers. After a total of an hour, the burgers arrived, and the long wait was not worth it. The person who previously had the schnitzel was now allowed to watch. When it came time to pay, it also occurred to the sleepy waitress that you could be more friendly. When she noticed that there were only cents as tips, she and the boss pamped our friend about what kind of people we were and why we wouldn't tip. Overall, the food wasn't worth the prices and the service and time management just poor. There are much better restaurants in Offenburg where you don't have to worry about leaving money there afterwards. --------------------- ADDENDUM -------------------- We can understand that if you have so little praise on our part, you will be upset. However, it is not the guests' fault if they cannot cope with the rush and still accept guests without a reservation. In fact, especially in the current situation, you should be happy that all the places are occupied. The said nice boss pointed out to us that the tarte flambée are made in a hut, the rest in the kitchen and therefore the meals take different lengths of time. So why does everything come at very different times anyway? First a tarte flambée, then 15 minutes later the next, followed by a schnitzel and only much later the burger. If our criticism is dishonest, then ask the (not nice) colleague from that evening. A week after our visit, she could still remember us very well when she whispered about us with another colleague while we were on the way to the lake.

Once again spent a great evening in the Haus am See. In addition to great service and a stunning ambience, excellent cuisine that has something to offer for every taste. Always my pleasure

The food and its quality is very good. The service is friendly and quick. Anyone who likes Burger Marie Burger will not be disappointed here and will get a high quality product.

Beautiful location. Despite the busy period, the service was always very friendly and attentive. The food was very good! The best schnitzel in the area! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.

Idyllic location close to the lake. There is something for everyone in culinary terms - regardless of whether it is vegetarian or vegan. The service was very friendly and competent. Even the kitchen prepared the dishes quickly when the beer garden was fully booked and impressed both in terms of taste and the way of serving. Always my pleasure!!

Nice location, but high prices and low performance. Sausage salad was ok Smelly toilets and unfriendly staff.

Service was a mess. I can't recommend it. Quite unfriendly and slow. I recommend you bring your own to the lake instead of eating there !! That saves you money and nerves.

Nice location, few parking spaces. Food is good, but service a disaster. Several service staff run senselessly through the area. Eternal waiting times for food and drink. E.g. 1 hour for hamburgers ...

We have been to the lake house several times. Whether in the evening or for the Pusteblume festival - it was always fun and extremely tasty! Even in times of corona regulations, we remain in solidarity and are happy to order for collection at home. Best quality and especially hot on the domestic plates. Kudos and thanks. Very nice atmosphere. The food was very good. Did not know that there is such a beautiful plant in my environment. Will stop by here often. That's how I imagine gastronomy. Very friendly staff.

We went there because a friend of mine wanted to celebrate her birthday there. It was fine I guess until I got my food. I ordered one of the 4 or 5 vegan options because I am allergic to milk protein, so I can't have milk or cheese. When I got my food, it had Parmesan cheese all over it and I couldn't eat it. I didn't get a new plate or a discount, nothing. Also the waitress was so bored and unenthusiastic.

Delicious. Some vegetarian and vegan dishes ... great! You can sit outside nicely. Come back for sure. In the middle of the green ... You can park right there but it is also worth a walk around the lake. Keep it up..

Tolle Party area

Great venue in the summer with a massive beer garden. I love the fact that you are able to order 1 litre beers here. The food menu is simple but is cooked well. Staff are friendly and quite attentive. The location itself is really great, nothing else around except the little lake and nature. Enjoy coming here every summer, not sure what it´s like in the winter never been.
